Guided Missile Cruiser's (CGs) Mission Statement

Guided-Missile Cruisers (CGs) are multi-mission surface
combatants capable of conducting:

* Anti-Air Warfare (AAW)
* Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW)
* Anti-Surface Warfare (ASuW)
* Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD)

Their primary mission is to protect and defend other surface
combatants typically as part of an aircraft carrier battle group,
or as part of an Amphibious Readiness Group.

They may also operate independently as offensive and defensive
assets, and have the capability of operating as a flagship.
